College Recruiting Service - GamedayRecruits.com

Local company in Oxford, AL just launched new "College Recruiting Website" for high school athletes.  The website is called www.GamedayRecruits.comGameDayRecruits.com was founded in 2008. "The whole goal is to help high school athletes get to the next level. We like to say we're leveling the playing field when it comes to recruiting" says founder Kenny Wright.

Launched in July, there have been already over 400 athletes who have signed up with at least one athlete from every State.  The site is a cross between Scout.com and MySpace.com.  They have articles posted on the website and also offer the ability for athletes to create their own FREE recruiting page.

The high school athlete simply creates his or her recruiting page by signing up (It's free with upgraded packages available).  They can upload video, stats, pictures, audio, bio, awards and more!  Its an excellent way for high school athletes to get exposure in front of college coaches.

College recruiters from around the country have already signed up with GamedayRecruits.com to use as part of the recruting strategy.  It's an excellent way for colleges to initiate contact with high school recruits from around the country.

There are several new features that are being discussed to add to GR.  They will soon add a "Gameday Blog" section where athletes can blog about their progress through out the year.  Recruits will be able to add comments on fellow recruits pages and also add music to enhance their page.

"There are so many things that we want to do to make this the best experience possible for high school athletes and college recruiters" says founder Kenny Wright.

GamedayRecruits.com will start offering upgrade packages which range between $7.95 to $9.95 per month to get extra exposure to the athletes.  The two packages that are offered is called a "Verified Recruit" package and a "Featured Recruit" package.

The "Verified Recruit" package is offered so that college coaches can review the athletes recruiting page and know that the information is as accurate as possible.  GR calls the athletes coach and school to verify that the information on their recruiting page is accurate and reliable.  The "Featured Recruit" package is basically the same as the "Verified Recruit" package but with a ton more exposure!  The athletes recruiting page is ranked at the top of the list, featured on the front page of GR and also featued in their new digital magazine which is emailed to coaches through out the country.

For any parents out there who believe their child has the ability to play college ball, www.GamedayRecruits.com is an excellent start.  The days of depending on your coach for everything and sending out video packages are over.  Now the power is in the recruits and the recruits parents hands.  It's up to them now to promote themselves so that he or she can get exposure and play at the college level.
