*Both games were done by the end of the 5th inning.

*After taking Game 1 of the set, Donoho failed to get beyond the 5th inning in the 2nd and 3rd games.

*Cody Currul struck out 16 batters to earn the complete game victory for Gaston in Game 2.

*South Lamar sweeps Wadley.

*Berry advances to play Providence Christian on the road in the 2nd round.

*Ben Haynes came through with a grand slam in Game 2 to get the Raiders on top 4-0.

*Warriors turned a game ending double-play in the 7th inning of Game 2 with runners on the corners.

*Ranburne advances to play Cleveland on the road in round two.

*Lineville to face Westminster Christian at home in the next round.

 

Class 3A

 

Hokes Bluff      12         14

*Hokes Bluff only allowed two hits combined in the two game series.

*Glencoe began the series with a 2-0 in the first inning.

*Neither game went past the 5th inning.

*Saks overcame a 4-1 deficit in Game 2 to clinch the series.

*Boaz clinches series at home in Game 3.

*Cullman pulled out the win in Game 3 in the 12th inning.  Etowah tied the game in the 7th when they plated 3 runs.
