Oxford Rolls to Championship Win

WELLBORN — Any time a team posts 38 runs in three games, their chances of picking up wins are quite significant.  For the Oxford Yellow Jackets, that gaudy number just so happened to be the winning formula used to earn the 2008 Calhoun County Baseball Championship.

The Yellow Jackets knocked off Alexandria tonight 12-2 in 5 innings wrapping up a perfect week at 4-0.  Each contest, including their first round route of Anniston not included in the run total, was stopped short due to the ten-run-rule.
